Career

Mustang Airworks is a CAAN-approved, ISO 9001:2015 certified aviation parts supplier based in Kathmandu, Nepal. We supply airlines, helicopter operators, MRO facilities and government departments across Nepal and South Asia and we are always interested to hear from people who want to build a career in aviation supply. A passion for aviation is a must. Everything else, we can talk about. What we do, and what you would work on. Our team covers the full path a part takes from supplier to aircraft:

  • Procurement and supplier approval — sourcing airworthy parts, vetting suppliers, verifying traceability back to the manufacturer.
  • Incoming inspection and stores — goods-in checks, shelf-life and storage control, bonded and quarantine handling.
  • Quality assurance and documentation — ISO 9001:2015 processes, CAAN compliance, certificates of conformity, EASA Form 1 and FAA 8130-3 records.
  • Commercial and AOG support — quoting, order follow-up and lead-time management for operators working against the clock.

Aircraft do not fly on paperwork that is nearly right. Whichever side of the business you sit on, the standard is the same: get the detail correct, every time.

Backgrounds we are looking for:

  • Aviation supply chain, purchasing or logistics
  • Quality assurance and quality management systems
  • Stores, warehousing and material control
  • Aircraft maintenance records and technical documentation

We will always consider strong applicants from outside the sector. If you have worked somewhere that demanded precision, traceability and a calm head under deadline pressure, that experience transfers.

Working at Mustang Airworks

We are a small, growing, multilingual team in Kathmandu. That means real responsibility early, direct contact with customers and suppliers, and the chance to learn parts of the business that would be closed to you in a larger organisation. It also means we rely on each other — enthusiasm and initiative count for as much here as a line on a CV.

How to apply?

We accept speculative applications year-round, whether or not a vacancy is currently advertised.

  1. Email your CV to [email protected].
  2. Add a short note describing the kind of role you are looking for and what draws you to aviation.
  3. We will review it, keep your details on file, and get in touch when a suitable position opens.

If you are applying for a specific advertised vacancy, please include the job title in your subject line.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need previous aviation experience to apply?
No. Aviation supply chain, quality or maintenance-documentation experience is a strong advantage, but we assess every application on the attention to detail and reliability it demonstrates.

Do you have current openings?
Openings are advertised on this page when they arise. Because we are growing, we also welcome speculative CVs at any time and keep them on file.

Where are your roles based?
Our office and stores are in Kathmandu, Nepal, and we serve operators across Nepal and South Asia.

What happens after I send my CV?
Your application is reviewed by our team and held on file. We will contact you directly if a role matching your background becomes available.

Which languages do you work in?
Our team is multilingual. Strong written and spoken English is important for supplier and airworthiness documentation, alongside Nepali for day-to-day work with local operators.
